Opinion: President Aquino Will Talk At National TV About DAP Controversies #1MNews

The roller coaster of political events, continues to move to its peak like a rushing of waves, that you know it’ll never stop. It rolls down into the deepest sentiments of the Filipino people. Why on earth do we have to bear the turmoil of our political system, which for sure, it never stops banging our lives?

Our country was plagued by Pork Barrel caravans caused many political geniuses to enter into the arena. Why they like to play the game at the arena?

Since President Aquino was elected, different government institutions officers were trampled down for their negative ways of running their offices. He molded his administration in clearing bad elements in the government. He even fought the “righteous people or saints” of the past. Things got worse when Janet Napoles was arrested for PDAF cases through the “Whistle Blowers” effect.

Leila de Lima of the Department of Justice (DOJ) paraded her prowess to knocked down leaders who strayed away. Ordinary Filipino people thinks they’re pure as crystal. Even the BIR Commissioner Kim Henares “shaved the beard" of some Filipino businessmen and the famous Manny Pacquiao too.

Not only that, three Philippine Senators were arrested and detained for plunder. What more can I say? It’s the prerogative of the government to do their job, no more, no less.

So many political actors interviewed by the media about what they think about DAP. In fact, some went out of their ways to shout at demonstrations. There were actors too, when it comes to “epal effect” of some groups who are against the administration. Even political activist Mae Paner as “Juana Change” are always present in the “road to freedom” to shout her prayers.

The latest of the circus show was the Supreme Court defied DAP as unconstitutional, the brain child of Secretary Butch Abad who introduced by Aquino Administration to its government system.

The circus keeps on rolling day by day until Secretary Butch Abad felt that resignation was the option. But President Aquino defended him or retained him for his government position. The administration position was DAP helped them to put forward the economy of the Philippines. It was managed in good faith for the good of the people; helping Project Noah, road construction, Marikina River problem, construction of schools and so many others.

Some of the political actors shouted foul for the President decision to retain his Secretary at Malacanang. And today, Monday, July 14th of 2014 at 6 pm, on National Television, he will explain the current national issues that touch upon the principles of good governance, as the controversy over the pork barrel scam and the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP)continues. And, maybe his refusal to Sec. Butch' resignation.

The Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP), the leftist said, “It’s unconstitutional in some areas and it should be stopped.” Some political geniuses said, “Aquino Administration version of the pork barrel.” Is it true in the sense of the word “a pork barrel with a twist?”

The Aquino government must prove their stance for this issue by way of presenting the financial documents to the Filipino people. And, they will stop this DAP system because if illegal use of "savings" or DAP furthermore sends an image of corruption and bad governance.

Read through the pages of your mind.

  3. I think it's a matter of perspective. For one the constitution hasn't been really solid being drafted in 1987 so maybe we also need to revisit the constitution.

  4. To be honest I think what he should have said was I respect the decision of the Supreme court and I will abide by it. What he said sends the wrong message to his constituents.

  5. I'm glad the President chose to address this issue. There have been a lot of controversies in which he has been silent. His term is almost over. I hope he does something about the culture of impunity

  6. DAP implementation - to get people's support and trust - bring out a fully detailed presentation on how, where, when, how much and photos of the projects wherein it has been used

  7. DAP is stained with a strong malice on graft and corruption. The purpose is in good faith but the way it is used is dubious, full of "treat and tricks" so to speak.
